The Role:
•Data preparation and manipulation produce accurate, high quality subsurface map sets to assist the Sub-Surface group in their engineering and geological activities.

•Output Zmap grids to the Geoscientist/Engineers using a variety of formats for their use in 3D visualisation/Geocellular model building purposes.

•Provide an ArcGIS capability to include ad-hoc presentation documents, cultural data QC/sharing with other applications and the regular maintenance of the company’s lease/licence position.

•Work with CDA Well Datastore/Seismic Datastore and help fulfill any requests and needs of this initiative. Understand the Norway solution for accessing Norway based data sets.

•Help provide a Seismic Data management function including the loading, storage/cataloguing and archiving of 2D/3D seismic data using the Landmark suite of tools (Openworks/Seisworks/Seismic Data Manager).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Due to the ever changing nature of technical computing, some of the job challenges will relate to continual improvement and implementation of work flows to enhance the users efforts to deliver their goals.
Good working knowledge around Linux and Windows platforms combined with familiarity of the Petro-Technical challenges are what will be required for this candidate to succeed.
The candidate would ideally have experience of above and be able to pro-actively demonstrate initiative and understanding of the needs.
Communication skills and a flexible approach to problem solving would be expected.
