The Company:
An established oil and gas operator company is looking for GIS Coordinator (National)

The Role:
Responsible for managing GIS data and analysis required for the IDD project. Ensures that quality and accurate data are uploaded into the system. Work closely with IBU GIS team in utilizing the tools to meet project requirements.

Requirements include :
- Coordinates data collection form all project sites and upload to the GIS System. Data can be project data & survey data such as engineering, survey geophysical / geotechnical, HES, and drilling data.
- Provide support and data analysis to the project team on the data interpretation and maps
- Work closely with IBU GIS team on the GIS related infrastructures and applications.
- Prepare budget and plan for the GIS requirements for the project
- Work closely with project team and supervises contractors on engineering and survey data collections
- Maintain the operations and availability of GIS system for the project
- Convert various spatial data sources into GIS format
- Conduct planning data acquisition
- Process various remote sensing data for GIS application
- Provide technical consultancy related with GIS, GPS survey and remote sensing.
- Verify and quality control of data processing which will be done at sites.
- Supervises and leads contract employees/ contractors in collecting, inputting and managing data into the GIS system
- Lead IDD GIS team efforts positions.
- Attends and contributes to IDD IM/IT team meetings
- Attends and contributes to External Contractor, Service Provider and Partner Meetings.
- Serves as Lead GIS interface with stakeholders, leads and facilitates meetings relating to Geographical Information requirements; engaging appropriately to ensure early identification and timely delivery of information.
- Attends and contributes to Operational Asset Meetings where required
- Actively demonstrates The Company Way behaviors and promotes Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIF)
- Keep abreast of Engineering and Operations Informations Management advancements and changes from a domain, industry, legal and regulatory perspective, to ensure service and solutions are evergreen, compliant and based upon best in class proceses and technologies
- Ensures IDD GIS practice is compliant and aligns with relevant domain local statutory legislation, regulations and standards, The Company, Global upstream, Operation Excellence, Information Protection and IBU GIS business controls and strategies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- S1 Geodesy/Geomatics degree holder
- Minimum 5 years experience in GIS and remote sensing data processing
- Experience in project management and/or business analysis
- Familiar with ESRI ArcGIS products suach as : ArcGIS server, ArcInfo/ArcMap, etc
- Familiar with ER Mapper/ERdas
- Knowledge of principles of surveying, mapping, global positioning system and usage of aerial photography and satellite imaging, digital elevation model (DEM) and digital terrain model (DTM)
- Able to work with SQL (Structure Query Language), spatial and tubular databases
- Able to understand, develop, manipulate and analyze geographical information data
- Speak and write English fluently
