The Company:

The Role:
Primary Responsibilities
 Develop and maintain GIS project databases and map services
 Generate customized maps for Commercial project team
 Respond to project queries
 Provide data input for the provision of technical reports

Skill Profile
 Minimum 5 years of ESRI ArcGIS products, Python and SQL experience within Petroleum Industry
 Experience as a Data manager and Geodatabase (SDE and FileGDB) Administrator
 Knowledge of Oracle, Unix, Citrix, OpenSpirit and Tobin Land Systems desired
 Background in cartographic/geodetic systems (NAD, UTM, Lambert). International experience is helpful.
 Be familiar with land survey methodologies such as PLSS, Jeffersonian, and Spanish Land Grants.
 Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Access

Ability to interact with all teams within the organization

Detailed Responsibilities
* Aggregate G&G related data from various sources and formats
* Validate data accuracy using quality control procedures
* Perform geoprocessing tasks to reformat and analyze data
* Use SQL queries to view data and generate reports
* Use and maintain Python scripts in ArcGIS
* Provide support and training to GIS users
* Develop and maintain ArcMap templates and layers
* Publish periodic maps, and create special purpose maps as needed
* Design presentation quality maps for executive management
* Strict collaboration with Geodatabase Administrator
* Work with vendors and other onsite groups to facilitate data exchange
* Aggregate data, create polygons and calculate weighted values
* Create structure and isopach maps
* Create lease maps using Tobin database
* Import and export data from different databases
