The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
This role offers excellent opportunities to develop a broad range of business and commercial skills, focusing on the growth of an exciting business unit. There is a great deal of interaction with many areas of the business - specifically Global Design, Product, Legal, Finance and Marketing teams key responsibilities.

This position is within special operations and reports to the Director of Licensing and Branded Goods. This area is focused on supporting and extending the clients core business development by providing important lifestyle brand-positioning and supplemental income to support the core automotive activity. The purpose of this role is to manage all aspects of the Lifestyle categories within the brand-licensing programme including global and regional brand partnerships producing branded products. This is a cross-category role that will manage the implementation of the strategic vision for licensing, pro-actively and re-actively find and assess potential licensees and, once approved, manage all aspects of their product development, approval and promotion.

Excellent business and commercial acumen, program & results orientated delivery, understanding & experience of Brand Licensing.
Experience of project management and negotiation is essential combined with experience in programme delivery.
Excellent communication skills are a core requirement. A sound understanding of brand management and the retail consumer goods markets is advantageous as is an entrepreneurial spirit and creative vision for the application of the brands in a non-automotive environment

The role will lead negotiations with licensees in addition to liaising at all levels of the client within the corporate and regional teams.

Experience Required:
5 years plus experience in lifestyle licensing management either agency or licensee.

Education Required:
Ideally degree level or equivalent
