The Company:
Our Client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over £2.6 billion. They believe that it is the people that drive their success, from Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants to designers and commercial personnel. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK.

The Role:
Policy & Planning
• establishing and implementing a security policy and procedures for the client
• creating and maintaining a security analysis for all client locations
• determining the high risk locations and the key risk scenarios in each
• developing and implementing security strategies and plans for high risk locations and key risk scenarios identified

Audit & Review
• monitoring and supporting the implementation of security plans and performing audits and reviews as required
• leading and performing security incident investigations and implementing preventive actions and lessons learned
• planning ER scenarios and managing exercises

Training Support
• providing security inductions and security awareness training to company personnel
• identifying and co-ordinating specialist security training for company personnel as required

3rd Party Security Services
• performing analysis of security services to support client operations in global locations
• assisting with evaluation and selection of security contractors
• Facilities Security
• performing security reviews of client facilities globally using a risk based approach
• reviewing security arrangements at customer facilities, accommodation facilities and hotels using a risk based approach

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Graduate or Equivalent and member of relevant professional bodies
• Knowledge of the global security industry
• Experience in security risk management
• Ability to create security policy and procedures
• Ability to create and implement security strategies and plans
• Experience of personnel and facilities security issues and mitigating actions
• Capable of providing basic security training and inductions
• Capable of performing audits and reviews
• Ability to create and present management reports

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• Good networking skills internal, customers and 3rd parties
• Relationship builder, internal, customers and 3rd parties
• Role model for confidentiality and integrity.
