The Company:
Our client is one of the market-leading, global providers of integrated flow control solutions in the ever expanding/evolving oil and gas industry. Some of their specialties include valves and pipeline products/services throughout the Upstream, Downstream, and Petrochemical sectors.

The Role:
Global Strategic Human Resources Director - Houston, Texas


As Global Strategic HR Director, the successful candidate will be providing quite a lot of support of the sales, marketing, and commercial operations for the business - this is a fairly large group that you will be working with. This role will also require you to be in contact with individuals internationally around the globe as well as facilitate the relocation/placing of individuals in strategic locations (Ex: Abu Dhabi, Bogata, South Korea, etc.,) This position will also require you to work with legal departments to establish international business, and thus you will need to have relevant experience in that regard (knowledge of international labor laws or the ability to partake in sound research of the same.)

The Global Strategic HR Director is a stand-alone role, and does not have direct reports, however the role comes with the opportunity for eventual upward mobility.

Travel may be up to 40-50% of the job, internationally as well.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree required - Master's Degree is a plus
-7+ years of progressive HR experience (MINIMUM)
-Previous HR experience supporting a SALES organization within a strong manufacturing or and oil and gas company is essential
-Experience with/an understanding of international/global labor laws is required
-Must have or obtain a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally every month

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
-Master's Degree in HR/Industrial Relations or related field is a plus
