The Company:
Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of a GOM Subsruface Organizational Capability Assistant.

The Role:
The Gulf of Mexico (GoM) Subsurface Organizational Capability Assistant will provide analytical and administrative support for various people development programs in the GoM Resource organization. Support is in the areas of people moves, technical training, technical coaching, early hire development, experienced hiring, intern programs, etc for a group of around 300 scientists and engineers. The role reports to the GoM Subsurface Organizational Capability manager. The successful applicant will also with work closely with the other support staff in organizational capability on the Client Houston campus and globally.

• Update various people development trackers and databases
• Analyze people development data to find trends and to highlight issues
• Generate displays for management summarizing status of various organizational capability initiatives
• Create occasional internal promotional posters and electronic newsletters
• Create and manage occasional surveys to ~300 staff to monitor organizational capability health and analyze results
• Update organizational charts quarterly
• Coordinate meetings for the organizational capability manager
• Make recommendations for improvement in the area of subsurface organizational capability
• Work closely with organizational capability staff in other business areas and with the global E&P Learning and Development group.

Essential • Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer.
• A minimum of an Associates Degree or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years industry experience in a role supporting management or technical specialists (this is not an IT support role)
• Significant experience analyzing data in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Powerpoint and Word or similar applications.
Preferred In addition to the required qualifications the successful candidate is likely to have:

• Experience in a role supporting people development (eg HR, training)
• Experience working for a large integrated company
