The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The successful application will be responsible for the development of the High Voltage Electrical Distribution System

Key tasks for the team include:

- Support the PMST leader in programme delivery and supplier management.
- Requirements definition, including capturing and agreeing cascaded requirements from the industry, vehicle attributes and systems teams.
- Work with the tier 1 supplier partner in the development and validation of the HV EDS according to programme technical, cost and timing targets.
- Support the develop a commodity development plan of the HV EDS.
- Complete the quality deliverables and derive critical design and manufacturing actions from them.
- Complete the hazard analysis and support the functional safety analysis.
- Work with tier 1 harness supplier to develop the HV EDS package that balances the cost and vehicle attributes targets.
- Support the report out project status to project leaders and senior managements at key milestones.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Strong appreciation of vehicle systems and architectures.
- Experience in component engineering for automotive application
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to resolve technical and process issues within a Project Team environment.
- Experience in robust component engineering development
- Problem investigation and Problem solving.
- Confident communicator.
- Strong organisational skills.
- A high level of diligence and personal integrity.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Sound judgement.
- Degree level qualified in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic engineering or closely related subject.
