The Company:
Our client is a nuclear specialist, covering both civilian and defence sectors, across the complete lifecycle from New Build, through Operations and Maintenance, to final decommissioning and waste disposal.

The Role:
To develop planning practitioner skills and knowledge to become a fully competent Project Planner.

The Project Planner is the 'organiser' of a project or projects. The planner sets out, monitors, maintains and updates the project plan/programme in coordination with all stakeholders of the project. The planner provides information to the Project Management and Design Management teams on project progress to both critical path and project milestones. The planner works closely with the project services team in monitoring programme KPIs.

• Junior Planner Role:
• Support the planning needs
• Use and maintain the planning processes, procedures and tools
• Develop Project programmes
• Monitor progress of Projects
• Undertake performance reporting
• Support production of tender programmes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A relevant Degree – Project Management, Engineering, Construction etc. (equivalent business experience in a Project Management/Engineer role may be considered).
• High degree of computer literacy
• Genuine desire to become a fully competent Project Planner within the nuclear industry

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience of working in a project/nuclear environment
