The Company:
Our client provides a unique consultancy service to the Energy industry based on multi-disciplinary experience. They use their range of skills to identify and solve the key issues that our clients face.

The Role:
The role of a graduate consultant will be varied and challenging, with the successful candidate(s) contributing to ensuring safe and reliable operations within the practice. The role will focus on the nuclear industry, supporting lead engineers on various projects. Close support will be provided and you will be client-facing as soon as possible.

Principal accountabilities and attributes include:
• Have an awareness of engineering design principles, and demonstrate an ability to apply a systematic approach to the solution of problems
• Ability to demonstrate and apply sound engineering judgement and follow due process in supporting the solving of our clients’ issues
• Have the ability to recognise and prioritise issues and identify the most appropriate solution when faced with conflicting demands
• Demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to work to achieve results

Example of work:
• Safety case
• High level systems design work

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 2.1 degree or above in an engineering or science related degree
• A keen interest in the nuclear industry

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Practical work placement/experience in the nuclear (or related) industry
• MSc or PhD
