Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

Working with the direction of styling, the infotainment team are responsible for the creation, management and delivery of all visual elements associated to the graphical entertainment and control systems within the vehicle and visual elements for third party apps. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and delivery of 2D and 3D graphical assets and associated documentation.

Scope of the Role

The delivery of the role should encompass 4 main elements, which will have different emphasis at different stages of projects:

-Generation of functional HMI solutions for infotainment systems, vehicle controls and third party apps.
- Creation of graphical assets within the Company styling guidelines, infotainment specifications and following the Company DNA using industry standard software.
- The development of scale-able flexible and re-useable graphical elements to create a graphical standard.
- The maintenance of existing systems, updates and model year changes.

Qualifications & Experience

- A degree or equivalent qualification in graphical design related discipline.
- In certain circumstances lower qualifications shall not be considered as a barrier, as long as the engineer has a proven track record of effective performance and delivery and has significant direct experience.

-Direct experience in GUI and designing graphical assets is expected.
- Knowledge of industry software Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Knowledge of 3D design using Maya or equivalent is advantageous.
- Good communication skills at all levels.
- Proven self-starter and able to work independently.
- Good time managment and able to work under pressure
- Flexible team player, able to liaise at all levels within the organisation.
- An understanding of multimedia systems at user level is an advantage.
