The Company:
With interests in over 20 UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) fields, my Client has one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the offshore waters of the UK.

The Role:
• Develop the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning and installation parts of the project execution plan and build the team required to support this.
• Preparation for and participation in peer and functional reviews leading up to the project Sanction decision.
• Take ownership of the EPCI Contract Management Plan.

Project Execution:
• Performance management of the EPCI Contractor based on ensuring compliance with the Contract and its included terms and exhibits; these include the scope of work, project controls and reporting, HSSE and quality. Raise concerns with the Project Manager as soon as they are recognised.
• Close management of the EPCI Contract from the point of Contract Commencement date to ensure that key deliverables (e.g. the Project Execution Plan, The Project Schedule and the Site Mobilisation Plan) are delivered within the prescribed number of days as defined within the Contract exhibits.
• Work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure the project achieves the expected standard of engineering and technical safety and meets the sanctioned performance criteria.
• Provide a weekly highlights report and contribution to monthly project reporting requirements.
• Risk owner for risks and opportunities associated with the deliver of all aspects of the EPCI delivery.
• Ensure that lessons learned are captured and documented on a monthly basis.
• Ensure that all documentation supporting the Handover of the facilities at the point of ‘take over’ from the EPCI Contractor and subsequently at ‘ready to introduce hydrocarbons’ is complete.
• Provide the material to enable the project close-out report to be prepared.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of managing a lump EPCI Contract with Contract value > £100 million (as the Operator or the Contractor’s responsible person).
• A verifiable record of the successful development and delivery of a number of medium to complex Greenfield hydrocarbon projects.
• Able to demonstrate the required level of commitment to HSSE, provide HSSE leadership to the team and identify and lead HSSE improvements within a project.
• Experience in the development and structuring of project organisations.
• Competent to lead a large multi-disciplinary team and direct, mentor and inspire team members.
• Proven capability in the moulding and motivation of project teams aimed at achieving high performance.
• Experience in the application of stage gate project delivery practice and assurance with particular emphasis on the ‘define’ and ‘execute’ phases.
