The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Our Client is looking for an H&S Advisor to join the commissioning team on site.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Provide LNG Specific expertise to the commissioning and start up teams to assist in the development of SIMOPS and H&S plans/procedures.
• Liaison with Commissioning and Start-up team to ensure that commissioning activities risk assessments are carried out and any points of concern are followed-up
• Liaison with Commissioning and Start-up team to ensure SIMOPS activities are identified and verify controls are in place.
• Provision of best practice technical HSE advice for construction/commissioning activities
• Provision of technical H&S advice
• Support for Commissioning in area walk-downs
• Review of Commissioning H&S plans/procedures
• Review of Contractor Work Method Statements and Commissioning Test Procedures
• Supporting Commissioning in daily H&S compliance

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
• 5+ years broad-based H&S / Commissioning experience, with prior experience in one or more H&S related disciplines
• Technical competence in occupational safety, risk assessment and HES management systems
• Ability to assess and act on project resource needs
• Major capital project experience with a large multi-disciplined workforce
• Strong communication skills with the capability to effectively interact with individuals of all levels

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Understanding and broad knowledge of H&S policies and procedures:
• Commissioning PTW and LOTO
• Broad technical and H&S skills in site construction and commissioning
• Hazard Intervention Program
• Incident/Injury Prevention
• Liaising with Emergency Response and Incident Management teams
• Risk Assessment(HAZID, WMS and JHA)
