The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity is available for a Health & Safety Compliance Advisor to be a key member of the Site HESQ project team, reporting directly to the Site Technical HSEQ Support Manager (Deputy H&S Superintendant).

Duties & responsibilities:

• Must possess the skills to provide H&S compliance and H&S audit support to Client, Contractors and their subcontractors.
• Ensure that all aspects of the project on Site is compliant with , Project, Client and WA / National H&S requirements.

A key feature of the role is the ability to routinely deliver high performance results in a demanding work environment, to ensure that an effective coordinated approach is deployed which ensures compliance requirements are fully understood, appropriate controls are deployed and mitigation strategies implemented.

The H&S Compliance Advisor must possess extensive experience and is technically competent (subject matter expert) in the following processes:
• ISO standards as they apply to HESQ
• HES Audit Team Leader
• Report writing
• Tracking register database
• HESQ policies and procedures
• WA and National workplace health and safety statutory / regulatory requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• High School diploma
• 10+ years in a prior HES related role and 5+ years in OHS compliance related role
• Major capital project experience with a large multi-disciplined workforce.
• Broad technical and HES skills in project management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and persuasive
• Effective coaching: understands and articulates performance expectations and is effective in communicating these to the work force and motivating them to achieve results
• Technical expert in occupational safety, health and environmental stewardship; risk assessment; human factors and HESQ management systems
• Extensive organizational skill: possesses initiative to independently manage a diverse workload of changing priorities and ability to maintain continuity in times of organisational change
• Strong communication skills: capability to effectively interact with individuals of all levels-both internal and external to the company

• OHS related diploma
