The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Health, Safety and Security within Upstream Contractor Scopes
• Work closely with back-to-back H&S Advisor Secondary Stabilization to ensure consistency in Contractor assurance activities.
• Deliver the integration of Incident and Injury Free program / culture into Contractors work program.
• Deliver the Company Contractor HES Management (CHESM) process.
• Deliver the HES component of the project Field Activities during Phase 4, including development of the company HES documentation prior to field mobilization e.g. HES Management Plan, Training requirements,
• Evaluate Contractor Exhibit D HES documentation as part of the Contract.
• Assist in the development and review of HES Verification Plan for Contract.
• Review Contractor H&S documentation and construction procedures to assist with final approvals.
• Participate in Contractor HAZID Workshops and review final HAZID reports.
• Participate in Pre-mobilisation audits of Contractor key equipment (e.g. vessels, heavy vehicles). Support the implementation of the Operational Excellence process (OE - Safety, Health, Environment, Reliability and Efficiency) during Phase 4.
• Participate in Incident Investigations and be able to lead Root Cause Analysis on behalf of Upstream.
• Carry out onsite inspections of Contractor performance against Contractor H&S documentation as per Contract.
• Participate in Site Safety Leadership Team Meetings with Contractor.
• Ensure Contractor Monthly KPI reports meet required Contract requirements.
• Identify and implement initiatives for improving HES Culture within the Upstream Team.
• Help deliver Contractor HES commitments to achieve HES performance during Phase 4.
• Interface with previous proejct HESS Team to ensure lessons learnt, where applicable, are captured and implemented/mitigated for future projects.
• Demonstrate leadership and participation in OE/ HESS Initiatives.
• Write HES Reports and HES Management Plans suitable for Phase 4 field activities. Health, Safety, Environment and Security Management Support
• Interface and Networking within ABU as required.
• Interface with downstream and/or central HES teams as or when required in the project office and at site.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have 10+ years experience, ideally within the Oil and Gas industry gained on large major capital projects. Experienced in the following key areas is preferable, but not essential:

• Permit to Work Systems
• Auditing
• Occupational Health and Safety for Fabrication / Construction activities related to offshore gas facilities
• Hazard Identification Techniques
• Safety Leadership

• Australian Occupational Health and Safety Legislation
• H&S Management System
• Communication and Presentation Skills
• Contractor Management and Interfaces (specifically with H&S bias)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Lead Incident investigator, HUET certified, Saturation diving understanding.
