The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
The DS H&S Supervisor Electrical is a key member of the HESQ project team, reporting directly to the H&S Manager Construction. The H&S Supervisor Electrical must possess the skills to provide both; general health and safety, and specialist electrical support to Client, Contractors and their subcontractors and ensures that all aspects of electrical installations, maintenance, isolations and repairs are performed in a safe and effective manner. The H&S Supervisor Electrical will ensure that Electrical practices meet all project safety and legal requirements. A key feature of the role is the ability to routinely deliver high performance results in a demanding work environment, to ensure that an effective coordinated approach is deployed which ensures Electrical activities are coordinated in a systematic manner. To achieve in this role the H&S Supervisor Electrical must be a competent Hand S professional with extensive electrical experience; The H&S Supervisor Electrical must possess experience and be technically competent in the following generalist H & S processes: • HSS Management systems, including training and competency, legislative requirements • Document review and approvals • Incident reporting and Investigation – including root cause (RCA) techniques, • Hazard identification (HAZID process) • Action management The H&S Supervisor Electrical must possess extensive experience be a subject matter expert in the following processes: • Electrical Codes and Regulations • Electrical Installations, Maintenance, Isolations and Repairs • Electrical Isolation LOTO system • Power Generation systems • Colour coding of electrical equipment • Temporary Electrical Equipment Register • Electrical installation Plans • Earth Leakage Protection Systems • Identification of buried underground cables • Permit To Work System • HV and LV Safety Precautions • Mechanical and Electrical Isolation Philosophy Essential Skills include: • H&S certificate or equivalent • Internationally recognised Electrical Specialist accreditation
