The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
The Head Contracts Change Orders Contracts Advisor is based on the Downstream Contracts team for a large LNG project now in construction.

The key function of the role is to manage / supervise the contracts–owners team administration of the EPCm contract maintaining a positive working relationship between the client and joint venture partners; providing timely support/contractual advice to the client Project Team; and the prime focus will be EPCM contract related matters.

Ongoing managements and administration of the Downstream EPCm contract which will involve :
• Supporting project Leadership, across all project locations, to drive preferred behaviours by EPCm Contractor.
• Provide advice and guidance to Downstream Leadership team on Head Contract matters including putting forward potential changes and or amendments to improve overall Contractor performance.
• Provide support and advice to head contract–owners team , all activities required to administer the EPCm contract with a particular focus on :
Managing the Change Order Request process including review , assessment and valuation of CORs
Developing and agreeing change order execution
Reviewing , interpreting and administering the incentive scheme
Development/drafting of contract correspondence incuding letters and ITCs
Maintaining up to date records of contract deliverables ( Eg Insurance certificates , letter of credit )
• Operating Fit for purpose systems and procedures with regard to EPCm contract management
• Interfacing with other commercial areas of the project, project services, industrial relations, legal, tax and finance functions to ascertain appropriate solutions of EPCm issues
• Complying with all Corporate compliance requirements in administering EPCm contract

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Commerce, Law Degree. Engineering Degree
Previous experience in Contracts, ideally having been in a role with oversight of Joint Venture partners.
