The Role:
- Degree in Engineering or BSC equivalent

Job Description:
Develop and/or provide technical advice and support execution of company’s Industrial Hygiene plans and programmes within the Project scope, to ensure compliance to COMPANY and regulatory requirements by :
1. Ensuring the process and procedures for mitigating health hazards and risks meet the regulatory, MCF and PTS requirements
2. Developing and maintaining IH standards and documentation i.e. manuals, procedures, instructions and statutory records
3. Ensuring the IH emergency response and preparedness are in place
4. Providing timely interface & advice to stake holders (COMPANY) on OH/IH requirements
5. Monitoring key leading and lagging KPIs as defined by CLIENT project

Technical Leadership:
1. Develop, provide technical advice and monitor implementation of annual IH programmes, plans and budget based on CLIENT’s HSE strategies and objectives
2. Develop and ensure maintenance of IH standards and documentation i.e. manuals, procedures, instructions and statutory records
3. Provide technical solution and ensure Project compliance to IH requirements:
- Health risk are adequately assessed and managed in design and construction phases
- Key IH-related design (e.g. noise control, LEV, ergonomics, error enforcing design, heat stress) are defined and embedded in the Project
- Health hazard exposure modeling monitoring are conducted as required
- Advise on workforce and community impact on environmental health
4. Analyse, disseminate and present the analysis of IH programs, lessons learnt and ensure lessons learnt are incorporated into project

Consultancy:
1. Review and analyze OH/IH performance and propose intervention plan for gap closure and improvement
2. Facilitate Tier-1, conduct Tier 2 IH assurance, recommend gap closure plans and monitor the effectiveness of IH plans & programs. Actively support Tier 3 assurance.
3. Lead / participate in incident investigation, recommend & monitor implementation of remedial action plan
4. Develop pre-incident plan for IH incidents, review adequacy of resources for emergency response preparedness
5. Provide technical inpouts to Project teams (i.e. packages involved) and review IH technical report
