The Role:
- A degree/professional qualification in related field with minimum 15 years’ experience in the Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals industry.
Must has authority to work in Malaysia

Job Purpose:
1. Development and Execution of Commercial Strategy including Business Model/Philosophy, Partner Selection and Marketing Strategy for the C2 and C3 Chain complexes;
2. Business Valuation; including Detailed Feasibility Studies, for individual C2 and C3 Chain plants and on an integrated basis; and
3. Negotiation and execution of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Heads of Agreement, Shareholders Agreements, Termsheets and other relevant definitive agreements with potential partners for the C3 Chain Complex spread within 5 packages
4. Lead the development of all C2 and C3 Chain key documents for Final Investment Decision by COMPANY Management
5. Lead the preparation of anti-competition filing for C2 and C3 Chain
6. To ensure the C2 and C3 Chain business philosophies and objectives are met and is sustainable and profitable for the project life of the complex (minimum of 25 years) with optimum value creation for overall integrated C2 and C3 Chain project whilst managing risk and safeguarding COMPANY’ interest and to facilitate timely Final Investment Decision (FID) process with the integrated cracker and diversified C2 and C3 Chain complex.

Job Accountability:
1. Commercial Strategy
- Direct and lead the development and execution/implementation of C3 Chain :
- Robust Business Models, the integrated overall complex and including logistics, offsite and utilities
- Overall Partner Philosophy, Equity Structure and Technology versus Commercial trade-offs
- Economic Evaluation
- Pre Marketing, Sales and Pricing Strategies
- the integration effort across the product portfolios within and outside CLIENT project business scope
- Overall Partner Selection process
- overall C3 Chain Supply Chain Strategy, design basis
2. C3 Chain Contract Negotiation Management and Governance:
- Lead and strategize Key Agreement Negotiations such as NDA, MOU, LOI, HOA, SHA and other Definitive Agreements related to rubber complex through the alignment of business philosophy, offsite/utilities, integrated marketing strategy and commercial viability across the C3 Chain value chain to ensure long term sustainability and profitability of the complex while balancing between attracting the foreign partner’s interest and safeguarding COMPANY Interest.
3. C3 Chain Stakeholder Management (Internal and External) and Market Intelligence:
- Strategize, develop and the management of C3 Chain investor relations, key stakeholders and market intelligence through management/mitigation and resolution of issues and constant improvement of relationship and networking with all C3 Chain partners and internally for effective and timely execution of C3 Chain Commercial Business Strategies and key agreements according to project milestones.
4. Planning and Performance
- Shape and Direct planning and Performance that covers C3 Chain Commercial & Logistics Project Charter, Budget, Management Report, Key Deliverables by obtaining key inputs and direction from primary C3 Chain Stakeholders
5. Risk Management
- Evaluate, mitigate and monitor Commercial Risk Management for C3 Chain through determining the C3 Chain Commercial risk exposure and executing mitigation actions/controls relative to acceptable risk reward trade-offs to ensure maximum value creation whilst mitigating Value at Risk
6. Molecule Management and Optimisation
- Strategise the development and implementation of C3 Chain feedstock procurement and overall C3 Chain complex's molecule management through optimisation of product value against cost of feedstock to maximise overall complex return
7. Business Opportunity and Product Development
- Strategise the integration effort across C3 Chain portfolios within and outside project CLIENT business scope by analysing various business opportunities that arise and to make the necessary proposals for management sanction to sustain business growth.
