The Company:
Major Oil and Gas Operator

The Role:
Global strategic responsibility for contracting/delivery of client's drilling and exploration seismic activity:

- Rig contracting – responsible and accountable for ensuring client Assets secure access to rig capacity to enable forward exploration and development programmes.

- Seismic contracting – as above, fully responsible for delivering same forward position for marine and onshore seismic programmes as well as processing requirements, fundamental for client being able to grow its E&A assets.

- Accountable for securing major Drillex contract awards to ensure delivery of key projects for client and for providing support and guidance to Assets to deliver locally.

- Global Contract initiatives for Well Engineering – responsible for and delivering successfully on globalising client’s approach to contracting for Well Engineering services and tangibles.

The incumbent owns and implements the processes required to ensure that robust contracting strategies and plans are prepared to leverage scale and deliver optimal value from client’s marine spend. Makes interventions as required to ensure targets are achieved.

Appraises key stakeholders within the business (EVPs, SVPs & AGMs) of C&P Marine Procurement performance.

Drives early C&P involvement to determine demand based strategic sourcing plans that enable client to optimise savings and value creation from its budgeted expenditure.

Determine, develop and maintain model contracts and templates that incorporate robust but fair contractual terms that are acceptable to contractors. Promote collaborative agreements, and facilitate successful outcomes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Must have extensive negotiating, procurement, and drilling experience. Looking for an Executive level member.
