The Company:
A major Oil & Gas Company

The Role:
Plan, coordinate and timely deliver required environmental permitting and reporting documentation
Ensure development of necessary procedures, forms, templates and schedules matching with requirements of RoK
Coordinate with all other entities, departments, directorates and agents to get smooth and efficient progress of all activities linked with operating environmental authorizations from Authorities.
Ensure technical support to the permitting process (response to Experts comments, Public Hearings and Public Consultation in the RoK).
Ensure that Agents’ environmental reports are systematically obtained and analyzed to assure sound and sustainable environmental performance.
Ensure that official required reporting to Authorities is delivered in due time.
Participate in HSE network by demonstrating continuous cooperation with Agents companies.
Contibute to the construction and maintenance of the HSE management System in the organization.
Define relevant KPI’s on environmental matters for continuous improvement.
Participate in environmental audits/ inspections of Agents operations as required to verify environmental compliance.
Respond to specific environmental queries from Authorities and from operational departments.
Interfaces with Authorities as necessary on environmental matters.
Liaise with RoK environmental agencies to assure approvals and permits required for the venture activities.
Counsel HSE GM and DGM on the aspects of relations and communications with authorities.
Track deviations from environmental commitments and bring them to the attention of Management.
Assist in preparation of materials on Venture HSE objectives and performances to be presented to venture and PSA bodies.
Find and evaluate potential contractors and suppliers for environmental aspects and conduct assessment in their activities.
Ensure that tendering process and contract awards for contracted activities are compliant with due diligence process.
Assign functions, roles and responsibilities to the team personnel.
Participate in staff selection, career development, succession planning and recommend development training.
Participate in reviewing and awarding compensation and rewards in accordance with the established remuneration system.
Propose initiative to develop, maintain and implement environment competencies, skills and tools across entities including coaching and guidance.
Carry out other tasks as instructed by immediate supervisor within assigned area of responsibility and professional qualification.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BSc in an Engineering of related scientific discipline.
Knowledge of licensing and permitting/ monitoring & reporting procedures within the RoK (beneficial)
5 years of experience in environmental permitting, monitoring & protection in a related industry or state regulatory agency.
Computer literate on Microsoft programmes, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, GIS, Performance Monitoring
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability to work in an multicultural, multinational team
Excellent presentation skills
Experience in environmental permitting and working with state regulatory authorities.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Russian & English languages are both mandatory
