The Company:
An Oil and Gas Operator

The Role:
We are looking for a Head of Maintenance for a position based in Gabon.

The service holder will manage the Maintenance & Integrity Planning, Scheduling and Execution to improve production and to ensure better and cost effective uptime of existing wells and facilities.
Stan-in for the Operations Manager

The keys responsabilties are below:

- Chair the M&I HSSE meetings
- Conduct regular safety inspection of plants and camps.
- Improve incident reporting by all M&I staff
- Lead the M&I closure of audits items

2) Maintenance & Integrity (M&I)
- Ensure M&I requirements are populated into the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and the Asset Register regularly updated.
- Ensure the CMMS operability and improve plant history of achieved maintenance
- Manage the M&I Scheduling, Work Preparation and Execution.
- Manage M&I performance reporting
- Review M&I strategies
- Ensure updated of M&I procedures
- Ensure M&I contracts are in place
- Participate in the 90 Days Plan Forum
- Provide M&I support in the scope of Operations Readiness & Assurance into Projects.
- Custodian of audit close- out for M&I
- Monitor and report M&I Opex trends

3) HR
- Staff yearly target setting/individual goal agreement, reviews
- Lead staff coaching, facilitate mentoring and the OJT
- Demonstrate effective communication

4) Continuous Improvement
- Facilitate training and usage of RCA techniques
- Improve M&I performance reporting and analysis

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineer degree or Master degree in industrial engineering, or equivalent

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas upstream industry, mainly in Field Operations (Production & Maintenance)
Asset Management in Oil & Gas industry
Management of large multidisciplinary teams and multi cultural work force
Strong drive in HSSE commitments
Experience in Operations Readiness & Assurance delivery

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Good command (spoken and written) of English and French
