The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

Ensuring and maintaining the function of the complete production equipment of the plant.
Leading and coordination the maintenance groups in all production shops.
Providing advanced regular maintenance programs to prevent equipment down times.
Fast problem solving if production shuts down or production problems appear, caused by equipment defects.
This position ensures a range of matters, Business compliance with UK and EU legislation. Through activities undertaken associated with compliance, the business is able to operate within a safe and legal environment.
This position is responsible for Third Party Major Contract Management across a network of preferred suppliers, sub-contractors and service partners. The services provided ensure that the business is able to function operationally and cost effectively.

Scope of the Role

1. Ensuring function of production equipment.
2. Leading Maintenance Groups.
3. Providing advanced regular maintenance.
4. Fast problem solving.
5. Legislative Compliance.
6. Third Party Contract Management.

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree educated in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Professional Safety Qualification – NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Experience of leading teams from a variety of technical disciplines.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience of managing complex problem solving.
- Experience of managing significant operational budgets.
- Technical knowledge in the manufacturing technologies and processes required to produce motor cars within areas associated with Body-in-White, Paint, Assembly, Wood, Engine and Trim operations.
- Knowledge of Group processes and systems, including Total Production Maintenance (TPM), Business Risk and Group Asset Management.
