The Role:
To delivery all necessary elements of Integrated Production Organisation (IPO) Safety by AKCO P&M Organization as part of their Operations Readiness and Assurance (OR&A) program.
** Post asset handover: Provide Technical Safety services to NCPOC

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Deliver remaining AKCO IPO safety work programme.
HSE Cases (mostly completed on paper; implementation required)
Permit to Work System (suitable for operations and in electronic format)
Implementation of self contained breathing apparatus contracting strategy
Escape, evacuation and rescue strategy implementation
Consistent and accurate QRAs
Chemicals and Radioactive Substance Management system
Fire Fighting Plans
Adverse Weather Procedures
HSE Competency Elements for Operations Staff
Incident Tracking and Investigation
HSE Transition Plans (Project to Operations)
Monitoring of AKCO project (EP) onshore and offshore activities to ensure consistency of approach to AKCO IPO deliverables across the EP project elements.
Act as contact point for NCPOC focal point for all HSE work executed within the IPO HSE Team.
Map and actively work internal NCPOC interfaces related to HSSE systems/assurance, technical safety, technical integrity and process safety, environmental and logistics aspects; liaise with relevant entities to ensure activities are adequately supported and executed in a timely manner
Participate in Construction and Pre-Start-up Audits as required.
In liaison with Training teams, ensure suitable and sufficient safety training provision for staff.
Participate in selection of future operations HSE staff for the new operations line organization
Define system for and assume responsibility for NCPOC Operations Readiness HSE management reporting and performance tracking

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The incumbent must have the leadership and influencing skills to ensure that the remaining IPO safety program is executed taking full account of the NCPOC HSSE requirements, matching those of the Shell Group as a whole (NCPOC is a JV under Shell control). Candidate must be able to be flexible enough to work in complex organisations under pressure while remaining focused on delivery of high quality products.

Qualifications & Experience:

This position is for an experienced HSSE or Technical professional with the following competencies:

University Science/Engineering BS/MS Degree.
10+years experience in various technical and business roles.
Strong hands-on experience and significant expertise with process / technical safety
Multiple supe
