The Company:
Our client is a major Operator working on a major LNG facility project. They are searching for an experienced Risk Specialist to join their team.

The Role:
• The Role:
Support the Development Project Manager defining overall value assurance checks roadmap including number and type of assurance checks (Value Assurance Reviews, Peer Reviews and Peer Assists) and timing in the project).
• Defining, according to OPDS handbook and company guidelines, assurance checks Terms of Reference, execution plan, necessary documentation, preparation activities and expected deliverable that Decision Support Packages documentation is ready before Value Assurance Reviews
• Assuring value improving practices (VIPs) and value engineering implementation
• Advising the most beneficial applications of Value Engineering, organize, coordinate and facilitate Value Engineering workshops, produce reports and assist in the implementation of recommendations
• Preparing performance indicators and score cards to measure the benefit of Value Engineering and advising Management on the opportunities and risks of the projects
• Coordinating risk management process and associated activities assuring the development and the updating of a unique project risk management plan and risk register and the risk escalation analysis to top management
• Support development team in the application of DMS, DMS guidelines customization and application control, Advising on VMS application
• Identifying the selection criteria on projects and risks to be analysed for the escalation process
• Negotiating internally the consensus on the Risk Register and the Risk Management Plan and the Risk Escalation Reports
• Participating, coordinating and follow up Contractors' Risk & Value management activities
• Leading Lesson Learned process and prepare outcome reports

Experience:
• Minimum 12 years industry experience as Risk / Value Management Analyst Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
• Minimum 7 years plus LNG specific project experience in managerial / decision making roles and as such bringing in lessons learned from his/her vast LNG experience to be able to interpret and explain Cost Schedule & Risk Analysis output to Project Leadership and relevant (AR) review teams.
• Experience facilitating risk / opportunity brainstorming workshops
• Fully versed with Risk Management and Analysis principles, techniques and industry standard tools, such as Pertmaster and @Risk.
• Proven experience and a full comprehension of strategic and managerial aspects on mega (F)LNG Projects ($1 billion +) across all OPD phases of Concept Selection, Concept Definition and Project Execution.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Degree or Management degree , Master degree will be an advance for leader position, PMI, SAVE or AACEI certification will be an advance.
