The Company:
Our Client is the largest LNG producing company in the world, with an annual LNG production capacity of 42 million tonnes per annum (MTA), safely and reliably delivering LNG to customers around the globe from world-class facilities in Qatar.

The Role:
• The position reports to Safety and Risk Manager.
• Supervises up to 10 Senior Staff and up to 10 Contracted Safety Technicians.
• Frequent communication with all Company Managers and Supervisors, Contractors management and working force with respect to implementing, complying and maintaining of Safety programs and standards
• Liaises, as Company representative, with Government agencies, industry associations and other professional organisations.

• Oversee the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of Company Safety Programs in the area of responsibility. Champion of development of periodical Safety reports that identifies critical activities highlights safety concerns and attention; are communicated, followed-up and documented in a timely manner.
• Manage The incident and Injury Free Culture within the assigned assets to ensure Company Safety vision is achieved
• Manage HSE Incidents from reporting till closeout within assigned assets.
• Manage Operational Safety Support within assigned assets to ensure the highest Safety Performance
• Manage all Safety inspection and testing in the assigned assets

Support the planning and management of Safety and Risk Budget.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering, or Safety discipline.
• 8 years’ of related experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory level in petrochemical, oil and gas industry with special emphasis on safety and operations.
• Good organizational, communication, and supervisory skills. Decisive with strong management skills, self-motivated and the ability to provide added value within a team.
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English with ability to produce procedures and technical reports.
• Very good knowledge of Word, Excel spread sheet and Power Point
