The Role:
This motivated individual will be responsible for providing the daily management of the wind & site team. This position must be able to ensure compliance to all standard operating processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Leads wind resource assessment studies for wind farm sites, with several onsite met towers, ultimately to derive a Net Capacity Factor estimate for several turbines, with different hub heights and layouts.
• Leads data collection and failure analysis efforts to improve turbine availability and reliability.
• Manages and directs Wind & Site database development, definitions, maintenance, and implementation.
• Establishes and manages Wind & Site database structure, tables, and forms.
• Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end wind performance reports and graphs.
• Investigates and provides explanation of performance variances with proposed corrective actions.
• Supervises, hires, trains and evaluates Wind & Site staff.
• Manages day to day operations training of Wind & Site Staff.
• Assists in preparing and managing annual budget for Wind & Site and monitoring of expenditures.
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by management and/or senior leadership.
• Ability to climb freestanding wind turbine towers and work in a team environment
• Climbing and working at heights of up to 300’ to perform data collection/inspections/analysis on completed wind turbines will be required.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Power Generation or related industrial fields preferred
• 5 +years of power generation experience or relevant experience.
• Experience in GIS database planning, design, and implementation.
• Experience with conventional surveying systems.
• Relevant supervisory experience required.
• Experience in the understanding of processes, engineering drawings, schematics, specifications and test methods.
• Ability to use SCADA systems, WINDPRO, WASP, LADA to access required data
