The Role:
Job Description:
1) Assess and review licensed technologies to establish technology parameters/boundaries based on technology licensing agreements. This will provide basis for:-
a- Product Market Seeding & Commercialization Plan.
b- Plant operation readiness with regards to product guarantee, performance test run (PTR) and smooth commercial production.
c- Future Product Improvement & Development Opportunities.
d- Alignment with SHA, PDP, engineering documents and further arrangements and agreements (eg Technical Support) required with licensors or other partner to enable effective implementation of (a), (b) and (c), as above.
2) Product Application & Technical Support:-
a- Review and assess lab facilities, tests and equipment required for product application and plant support services.
b- Benchmark products’ properties with competitors’ products to develop value propositions to customers for product positioning strategy and sales & marketing approach in market seeding and
c- Establish all product technical documentations/product dossiers (specifications, safety datasheets, processing guidelines) for product promotions in market seeding and commercialization stage)
d- Develop plan for product technical acceptance (customers’ qualifications) and certifications (if required based on specific industry standards) through customers’ trials and independent third party lab testing.
3) Design and establish Technology Management functions and organizational structure for operationalization of Petrochemical business with PRPC and PCG portfolio.
4) Plan and drive the Product Technology Capability Development for Product Technologists covering polymers, elastomers and chemicals through:-
a- Review of Technology Inventory & Rulers (TI&R) for Accelerated Capability Development (ACD) implementation.
b- Technical staff ACD assessment and gap closures initiatives implementation captured under Personal Development Plan.
c- Establish requirement of Technical Professionals (TPs) for polymers, elastomers and chemicals businesses via Technical Criticality Assessment (TCA) with Group Technical Capability
Management (GTCM).
d- Assess potential downstream collaboration & investment through scanning, identifying and evaluating the opportunities to create captive market and capture values for products. Provide technical
advice on the evaluation to Stakeholders Management Dept for FDI, DDI, Wave 3 Projects, potential expansion and new investment projects.
5) Review and assess feedstock, chemicals, catalysts and product grades requirements to provide technical advice on molecule management planning and economic analysis to the relevant
departments. (Molecule Management, Economics etc).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
i) Degree in engineering disciplines
ii) At least 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas
