Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor
Job Location: Sellafield
Rate/Salary: £35k to £45k

The Company:
Leading Worldwide Construction Company

The Role:
Our Client is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor who is able to fulfil the following duties:-

Advise site management and supervisors on all E, H&S matters including changes in legislation.
Advise on specific H&S requirements, changes and legislation
Represent our Client at H&S forums and proactively promote initiatives
Carry out daily inspections and ensure site standards are maintained.
Ensure inductions are carried out to all new starters and visitors as necessary
Ensure all E, H&S records are fully maintained.
Partake in direct briefings and workshops with the workforce to gain feedback and learning.
Conduct full investigation of events and record as required
Be proactive in EH&S initiatives in both production and implementation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The candidate would be ideally qualified to NEBOSH Construction certificate and have 5 years minimum Construction experience.
The candidate must be suitably qualified and carry CSCS accreditation.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in preparation of Method Statements and Risk Assessments
Experience in liaison with Client Representatives and Sub Contractors.
Experience of nuclear site would be an advantage.
