The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:

The Health and Safety Advisor will assist the Health Safety and Security Manager to ensure that the pipeline and facilities in Azerbaijan and Georgia is constructed safely in line with the project goals of zero fatalities and zero permanent disabilities and in compliance with the Client's Group practices.

•Work with the HS&S Manager to ensure timely delivery of all the Major Projects Common Process deliverables, integrating with the engineering and environment and social teams
•Work with the HS&S Manager to develop project HSE management system procedures
•Develop assurance programmes for pre-award contractor audits, contract compliance and contractor management system
•Work closely with the Construction Manager to develop HSE materials for contractor induction programme and an the HSE worker training programme for the execute stage
•Liaise with the HSE Managers in Azerbaijan and Georgia to ensure the HSE programme meets the RPU expectations
•Work closely with the Transportation Team Leaders in Azerbaijan and Georgia to develop the driver safety training programme, ensuring the project needs are closely integrated with the RPU expectations
•Ensure that lessons learned and relevant information and expertise from other worldwide projects, or projects in the region are captured and disseminated to the HSE team and project
•Train and mentor national employees to support their development and performance

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Successful candidate will ideally be degree qualified and have experience in the following:

•Developing Traning Programmes and Procedures in Construction and Transport Safety
•Development of assurance programmes
•Previous pipeline and facilities experience
•Although this position is office based, previous site experience is essential
