The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experienced engineering professionals.

The Role:
Advise on Health and Safety issues to achieve a high level of compliance company wide and assist in the day to day running of the health & safety department.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
•Maintain knowledge on current legislation
•Advise on all Health and Safety matters by working in close liaison with managers, employees and contractors.
•Investigate accidents/near misses
•Maintain Accident and incident Database
•Maintain all documentation associated with health & safety.
•Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
•Audit Health and Safety performance of AML employees and contractors on site
•Plan safety improvements and contribute to their completion.
•Take a proactive approach to raising health and safety awareness by coaching and guiding individuals/groups.
•These responsibilities cover all Aston Martin sites, the base could changed if required by the business.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Good working knowledge of English language
•Good communication skills at all levels of the organisation
•Knowledge of manufacturing processes
•Computer literate
•Able to complete NEBOSH Diploma – or NVQ 4-5 equivalent
