The Role:
Position Overview and Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the SMS Audit & Improvement Team Leader the post holder will be responsible for:
• Assisting in the development, implementation, and co-ordination of monitoring, audit and review processes appertaining to the company SMS
• Participating in audits at onshore and offshore sites, and where applicable performing the function of Lead Auditor
• Development of SMS audit scopes
• Preparing and delivering audit reports in a timely manner
• Reviewing and assisting in the development of Management System documentation to ensure continuous improvement of the company SMS.
• Participate in the effective delivery of the H & S Audit Programme.
• Monitor and coordinate the close out of all actions arising from SMS monitoring, audit and review processes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience in a relevant role, preferably with an Operations and or HS&E focus or involvement
• Relevant safety qualification NEBOSH or equivalent
• Successful completion of an IRCA approved Lead Auditor training course
• Current BOSIET / FOSET certificate
• Offshore Medical

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Candidate Profile:

• Good knowledge of UK offshore regulatory framework
• Must have strong interpersonal skill
• Communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
