The Role:
Key Accountabilities: * Advising Wells Team members on HSE legal, standard and procedural compliance.
* Promoting and coaching staff and contractors on HSE expectations and standards.
* Supporting well site Self-verification and Oversight activities
* Coordinating Incident/Near Miss Investigations to requirements and participate in investigations as required - assisting relevant parties in preparing quality investigation reports, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Development and implementation of interface documentation; including Combined Operation Notifications and emergency response plans - including leading/participating in HAZIDs and coordinating other supporting studies.
* Arranging emergency exercises to comply with region's Emergency Response Preparedness requirements.
* HSE data recording and reporting.
* Monitoring and ensuring all HSE actions either within Tr@ction or other tracking systems are satisfactorily closed out.
* Liaising with drilling contractor and service providers to ensure that they understand and meet their HSE obligations for the well activities.

Essential Criteria: Degree or equivalent.
Sound knowledge of drilling & wells
