The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

To provide competent and professional health and safety service and advice which are aligned with business needs to all areas of the organisation. This includes enabling the building of a strong and proactive Health and Safety culture throughout the organisation, facilitating continuous improvement and cultural change.

Scope of the Role

- Assist in and coordinate the reporting, investigation and follow up of all incidents, dangerous ooccurrences and near misses.
- Support the business in the assessment of risk.
- Provide support in the development and delivery of H&S related training.
- Review/approve requests for capital expenditure and new equipment.

Experience & Qualifications

- Experience of implementation of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of risk assessment techniques and tools.
- Experience of incident investigation techniques.
- NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent) as minimum.
- NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
- Chartered member of IOSH (or working towards).
