The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
An opportunity is now available for a Health & Wellness Advisor to join the team based in Perth.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

Case Management
Coordinate, review and maintain ( with the Fitness For Duty Coordinator) the Injury/Illness Management System, including return to work programs
Implement process requirements associated with Injury /Illness Management System
Coordinate (along with HR Workers Comp personnel) workers compensation cases with the insurance company to minimize totals cost and expenditure with claims
Conduct regular case reviews with Insurance Company on worker’s compensation cases
Coordinate and conduct regular case review with Medical Team Leader and contract Occupational Health Physician on all reported injuries including worker’s comp cases
Coordinating, review and maintaining the Fitness to Return to Work process (FFD)
Assist with Fitness to Return to Work training workshops for employees, as per Fitness For Duty process
Be familiar with our clients Functional Capacity evaluations Drug & Alcohol Program
Coordinate, review and maintenance of the Drug and Alcohol programs
Provide timely communication to the Health & Medical Team Lead for all drug and alcohol test results
Work in partnership with key medical provider to ensure compliance with Australian Standards for Drug and Alcohol testing
Liaise with contract medical service providers in relation to the Drug and Alcohol program
Liaise with key stakeholders on relevant Drug and Alcohol cases
Deliver and manage health programs and resources developed with Health & Wellness Advisor and Health & Medical Team Lead
Oversee daily management of all health programs delivered by Health & Medical
Participate in Employee Wellness strategy and design of health programs
Leads, Conducts and research for and development of health presentations and any health minutes related to Health & Wellness meetings
Provides speakers for health related presentations
Deploys and implements any vendored health & wellness programs

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered to you will have the following:

A degree Occupational Health Nursing or Occupational Therapist
A minimum of 5 years experience in Occupational Health FFD programmes, health screening, FFD risk assessments, Health Promotion, PWPE training or experience – previous Case management (return to work), drug & alcohol testing, audiometric testing, Travel Health, Pre-employment
Experience in preparing and managing budget costs
Ability to work within a team and independently, prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities and projects
The initiative based on strategic departmental and business plans
An ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) at all levels of the organisation to effectively convey ideas, motives and demonstrate subject matter expertise
Demonstrate technical proficiency with Microsoft suite
An ability to consistently apply attention to detail with all aspects of scope of work, whilst maintaining the highest level of medical confidentiali
