The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
An opportunity is available for a Health & Wellness Advisor to join this sucessful team based in Perth. In this role you will be responsible for:

Case Management ;
• Coordinate, review and maintain ( with the Fitness For Duty Coordinator) the Injury/Illness Management System, including return to work programs for the ABU
• Implement process requirements associated with Injury /Illness Management System
• Coordinate (along with HR Workers Comp personnel) of our clients workers compensation cases with the insurance company to minimize totals cost and expenditure with claims.
• Conduct regular case reviews with Insurance Company on worker’s compensation cases.
• Coordinate and conduct regular case review with Medical Team Leader and contract Occupational Health Physician on all reported injuries including worker’s comp cases.
• Coordinating, review and maintaining the Fitness to Return to Work process (FFD) for ABU
• Assist with Fitness to Return to Work training workshops for employees, as per Fitness For Duty process
• Be familiar with our clients Functional Capacity evaluations Drug & Alcohol Program
• Coordinate, review and maintenance of the Drug and Alcohol program for the ABU
• Provide timely communication to the Health & Medical Team Lead for all drug and alcohol test results
• Work in partnership with key medical provider to ensure compliance with Australian Standards for Drug and Alcohol testing.
• Liaise with contract medical service providers in relation to the Drug and Alcohol program
• Liaise with key stakeholders on relevant Drug and Alcohol cases.

Health & Wellness;
• Delivers and manages health programs and resources developed with Health & Wellness Advisor and Health & Medical Team Lead.
• Oversee daily management of all health programs delivered by Health & Medical
• Participate in Employee Wellness strategy and design of health programs
• Leads, Conducts and research for and development of health presentations and any health minutes related to Health & Wellness meetings.
• Provides speakers for health related presentation for ABU
• Deploys and implements any vendored health & wellness programs Health & Wellness
• Delivers and manages health programs and resources for all ABU Health Programs
• Oversee daily management of all health programs and resources delivered by Health & Medical
• Lead in collaboration with Health & Medical Team Lead the ABU Employee Wellness strategy and design of health programs
• Leads, conducts and research for and development of health presentations
• Lead quarterly Health & Wellness committee meetings and provide any health minutes related to Health & Wellness meetings.
• Lead the development of a Health & Wellness SharePoint page
• Resources and provides speakers for health related presentation for ABU
• Deploys and implements any vendored health & wellness programs
• Collaborate with multiple operating companies and business units across multiple locations regionally and globally to provide health & wellness solutions
• Participate in CoP for Employee Wellness
• To keep abreast of fitness and wellness industry trends for health & wellness services offered by other companies
• In coordination with Health & Medical Team Lead, collaboratively with other embedded business units (HR, HES and line management) to provide solutions that enhance employee health & wellness
• Consults on the design of data driven programs to reduce health risks that support Health & Wellness business plans
• Coordinates the development of monthly Health notes for local and regional distribution
• Leads the coordination and guidance for health activities such Health Fair, including sourcing vendors, planning, logistics and budget management.

Injury/Illness Management System;
• Coordinate, review and maintain ( with the Fitness For Duty Coordinator) the Injury/Illness Management System, including return to work programs for the ABU
• Lead and implement process improvement requirements associated with Injury /Illness Management System
• Train appropriate ABU personnel in the application of Injury/Illness Management System
• Establish criteria and standards for injury/Illness Management System for the ABU.
• Maintain Injury/Illness Management System tracking database
• Coordinate (along with HR Workers Comp personnel) of Chevron’s workers compensation cases with the insurance company to minimize totals cost and expenditure with claims.
• Conduct regular case reviews with Insurance Company on worker’s compensation cases.
• Coordinate and conduct regular case review with Medical Team Leader and contract Occupational Health Physician on all reported injuries including worker’s comp cases.
• Coordinating, review and maintaining the Fitness to Return to Work process (FFD) for ABU
• Assist with presenting Fitness to Return to Work training for employees and contractors, as per Fitness For Duty process. (including New to Chevron, and Supervisor Essential Workshop)

Drug & Alcohol Program;
• Manage, review and maintenance of the Drug and Alcohol program for the ABU ?
• Lead and implement process improvement requirements associated with Drug and Alcohol testing program for ABU
• Provide timely communication to the Health & Medical Team Lead for all drug and alcohol test results for breaches to the D&A policy
• Maintain Drug and Alcohol tracking database
• Work in partnership with key medical provider to ensure compliance with Australian Standards for Drug and Alcohol testing.
• Liaise with contract medical service providers in relation to the Drug and Alcohol program
• Liaise with key stakeholders on relevant Drug and Alcohol cases.
• Assist with presenting Drug & Alcohol testing program as per Fitness For Duty process for employees and contractors for the business (including New to Chevron, and Supervisor Essential Workshop)

Reports;
• Provide reports on health initiatives; budget and tracking statistics to the Health & Medical Team Lead on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis Provide reports on Injury/Illness Management cases and tracking statistics to Health & Medical Team Leadon a monthly basis, quarterly and annual basis.
• Provide reports on Injury/Illness Management cases and tracking statistics to Health & Medical Team Leadon a monthly basis, quarterly and annual basis Provide reports on all Drug and Alcohol testing programs and tracking statistics to the Health & Medical Team Lead on a monthly basis, quarterly and annual basis.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you will have the following:

• Degree Occupational Health Nursing or Occupational Therapist
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Occupational Health FFD programmes, health screening, FFD risk assessments, Health Promotion, PWPE training or experience – previous Case management (return to work), drug & alcohol testing, audiometric testing, Travel Health, Pre-employment.
• Experience in preparing and managing budget costs
• Ability to work within a team and independently, prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities and projects.
• Takes initiative based on strategic departmental and business plans.
• Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) at all levels of the organisation to effectively convey ideas, motives and demonstrate subject matter expertise.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency with Microsoft suite.
