The Company:
Our client provides Project Management services to the engineering and construction industry primarily in the resource, infrastructure, land development and property development sectors. Our aim is to provide effective Project Management and Project Controls support to our customers saving considerable time and money and improving the efficiency and success of their projects.

The Role:
The HSE Advisor provides advice and services to the Project Manager and Construction Supervisors for the purpose of achieving the project objectives in the areas of health, safety and environment.
These services are provided to support the site construction activities to ensure that the likelihood of a safety or environmental incident is minimised. The HSE Advisor is responsible for implementation of the site's Health and Safety strategies, systems and initiatives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Requirements of the role include:
• Management of site evacuation strategy, emergency preparedness, site security and monitoring of tools and equipment,
• Implementation of site injury management system
• Implementation of site pollution control, waste management and recycling, and chemical safety,
• Conducting HSE Audits and Risk Assessments to ensure legislative compliance
• Preparation of site HSE training, awareness and toolbox materials
• General HSE surveillance and preparation of HSE reports for onward circulation to the client

The Successful Candidates will Possess:
• Demonstrated experience in a HSE Advisor Role
• Previous experience working on process plant construction sites is a must
• Demonstrated ability in conducting HSE Audits and Risk Assessments
• Solid analytical and reporting experience
• Strong understanding of Malaysian workplace safety and legislative requirements
