The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
An opportunity is available for a Heavy Lift & Transport Supervisor to be a part of the team working with the MEI&C Construction Supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Provide leadership support for the safety and accident prevention
•Implement safety procedures, subcontractor safety meetings and site inspections
•Monitor the performance and productivity for SPMT utilisation work performed by the heavy lift/heavy haul contractor and ensure adequate levels of supervision
•Work with the heavy lift/heavy haul contractor to develop plans and routing drawings for pre-assembled units and equipment
•Monitor project schedules, staffing charts, material availability and equipment requirements
•Monitor status of civil activities associated with heavy haul routes
•Ensure technical queries are answered within a reasonable timeframe
•Log delays and mitigate causes
•Review Work packs to enable a smooth flow of constrction activities on site
•Continually monitor COnstrcution activities and review ways of removing man-hours from site.
•Advice the project team of status, issues, impacts, risk and cost influence factors on the remaining to go scope.
•Monitor and the implementation of safety orientations safety indoctinations and gang box meetings and provide coaching for improvement
• Work with other discipline and provide input simops coordination.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Previous experience with the heavy construction industry
•Previous experience working with heavy lift/heavy haul contractors on large projects
•Good understanding and an ability to read engineering drawings
•Demonstrated record of strong commitment to safety
•Knowledgeable with O&G industry construction methods and procedures
