The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. This position is based on the Central HES team for an LNG project. The position is site based and the rotation is 21/21 or 28/28. Applicants must hold current Australian work rights and be able to fly in and out of an Australian airport.

The Role:
• Support an Incident and Injury Free culture and communicate the importance of Stop Work Authority.
• Provision of health & safety advice and guidance to the Project team, including Contractors, sharing of safety best practice and liaison with company Safety Network.

• Operational Excellence Management System:
o Implement the H&S Documentation as required by Project Phase;
o Implement H&S procedures;
o Coach & Mentor Company & Contractor Field Supervisors on H&S;
o Develop monitoring and review processes for H&S and facilitate annual H&S reviews and planning activities;
o Actively participate in H&S initiatives.
o Conduct Inspections, Audits and Reviews as required by project phase.

• Contractor Management:
o Support implementation of the CHESM process requirements.
o Supervise Contractors H&S activities and field execution activities
o Work closely with Project Contractors to deliver H&S requirements & meet project KPI’s.
o Review and implement H&S documentation (HES Management Plans and Emergency Response Plans) for Field activities
o Review Contractor Incident Investigations and Reports, mentor on improvements if required.

• Incident and Emergency Management:
o Participate in incident investigations to help identify root causes.
o Undertake RCA facilitation of Level 2 and 3 incidents
o Prepare and issue incident data and prepare necessary H&S performance reports.
o Prepare HES Performance Data and Reports as required.
o Maintain Sunscreen, Insect Repellent, PPE & First Aid Supplies on site

• Training:
o Provide Inductions to new to site personnel
o Carry out necessary H&S training as required
o Maintain Medical Competency and Proficiency

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Diploma in OHS or higher
Previous field based experience
Medic Qualification
Incident Investigation
Good Communication skills and ability to build relationships with contractors and community
