The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
This HES Advisor role is on the corporate Drilling team and the key responsibilities will include:

Develop and implement the Health, Safety and Risk Management programs, processes and procedures to meet all Drilling & Completions and HES objectives and focus areas.
Develop, support & track the key HES deliverables to support all Drilling & Completions rig & office operations.
Lead Contractor Health Environmental and Safety Management (CHESM) for all D&C business partners:

• Participate in the Contractor qualification, selection process and pre-mobilisation inspection process.
• Contract safety/risk requirements, assessment of Contractor Safety plans
• Assist with development of Contractor “Score Cards” with respect to HES Goals / leading lagging indicators.
• Monitor and track Contractor Safety “Performance Improvement Plan” action items to closure.
• Assist Contract Owner with shorebase & rig site audits/inspections Competency and training programs, Safe Working Procedures
• Communicate daily with Drilling Superintendent, Drill Site Managers and HES field representatives for assigned rig
• Work closely with all members of the D&C organisation to identify safety and environmental issues
• Develop relationships with and assist D&C HES Field Personnel to be successful
• Promotes and ensures development of an Incident & Injury Free culture within workplace. Recommends new programs to help deliver incident free operations for assigned rig
• Responsible for all Safety Case documentation & approvals for assigned rig, specifically conducting HAZID’s and Risk Assessments to create the bridging documents for all rig operations
• Participate and ensure the quality of D&C risk assessments, specifically with regard to HES issues
• Responsible for reporting safety / environmental metrics data

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
OHS certifications.
Previous Drilling and OHS experience.
Good interpersonal and team skills.
Valid Survival Certificate.
