Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity is available for a HES Advisor position to join the operations team.

Duties and Responsibilities;

• HES interface with client HES, Upstream, Upstream Hook Up and Commissioning, Downstream and Offshore Platform Operations teams on platform operational issues
• HES support in development of platform Start Up, as well as actual Start up operation
• Assist in development, review and implementation of Operations H&S procedures for phase 5
• Assist in development and review of Operations and Maintenance procedures prepared by the Upstream Operations ORM contractor
• Assist in development, review and implementation of Offshore Platform Operations Environmental procedures for phase 5
o Chemical procedures and database entry/compliance
o Environmental monitoring requirements
o Environmental legislation and conditions of approval compliance o Reporting - internal
• Assist in development, review and implementation of Offshore Platform Operations OE compliance process procedures for phase 5
• Assist in preparing the Focal point for in Upstream Operations team
• Application of the OE compliance process & procedures (operations phase)
• Waste management on the facility (operations phase)
• Oil-In water Analyses and reporting in produced water (operations phase)
• Reporting of emissions other than discharges of produced water (operations phase)
• Environmental monitoring requirements (operations phase) General HES Responsibilities
• Participation in Operational Excellence (OE) activities
• Demonstrate leadership and participation in OE initiatives and deliverables Presentation of OE issues, HES issues at OE meetings and inclusion of OE requirements in the company Compliance Module
• Identify and support opportunities for the integration of IFO program / culture into Upstream Operations team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidates would need the following Qualification and Experience;

Education:
Secondary education supplemented with additional vocal education in HES

Experience:
• 5+ years in Oil and Gas field operations role, 3-5 years experience in HES role
• Experience in understanding and applying HES management systems is a requirement
• Have a basic understanding of the Australian regulatory framework

Preferred Skills:
• Good verbal/written communication skills, problem solving skills, ability to self manage, manage conflict and work collaboratively
• Visible demonstration of commitment to development and maintenance of a comprehensive HSE culture
• Ability to work under pressure unsupervised

Additional Comments:
Position duration is 12 months, located in Perth, working 9 hour days
