The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
We are looking for an experienced HES Engineer to join this major project, in order to ensure that all work is being executed in safe manner in compliance with safety rules and regulation stipulated in the HES plan.

The successful candidate will ensure all equipment that is to be used for specific activities at site are safe and in good working condition, and regular preventive maintenance of all machineries & equipment are done. Respective operators fill up daily inspection checklist of machine and equipment.

Assists in establishing policy and developing, implementing, and influencing strategies, tactics, behaviour and programs to ensure overall organizational performance in the areas of HES for employees and contractors.

Monitors existing and proposed state and federal HES regulations applicable to the companies present and planned exploration/production operations.

Develops and implements preventive or corrective HES actions as required.

Participates in and ensures the quality of Upstream Development H&S risk assessments, Hazard ID and other safety engineering studies and processes.

Liaises with project team and BU on processes including HES Risk Management and Process Safety Management (PSM). Support the roll out of PSM initiatives within Upstream Development as they occur.

Ensures EPCM contractors embrace client and stakeholder expectations for H&S in design including Safety Case commitments/requirements years of

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Extensive Safety and Risk experience with an exploration & production company required.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
University Qualification - Bachelor of Engineering.
