The Role:
An opportunity has become available for a Loss Prevention Advisor to provide process engineering/process safety oversight.

Your duties will include but not limited to:
• Provide process engineering/process safety oversight for the LNG Plant (e.g. facility layout, process design, HAZOP/SOA, etc.)
• Direct the Contractor's engineering and execution efforts for fire and explosion modelling, QRA and other related HES risk studies
• Perform design optimization reviews, HAZOP/SOA and advise other members of the project team of ways to improve the design
• Oversee the management of actions and recommendations arising from HES risk studies
• Accountable and responsible to ensure the implementation of the Risk Management process

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
• A strong background in safety and experience in some or all of the following key areas would be advantageous: Facility Engineering, Process Safety, HES. 10+ years experience in process engineering for processing and treatment systems, equipment and facilities, design, layout, construction.
• Engineering or HES related degree preferred. CSOC certification preferred

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Proven experience in the application of Corporate HES Risk Management Processes; including development of Risk Management Plans, coordinating safety and risk studies (Eg HAZOP/SOA) and advising the project on how best to address study findings
