The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity is available for a HES Specialist to join the Health & Safety Team for the Downstream project.

Duties & Responsibilities;

• Facilitate level 2/3 Root Cause Analysis for Henderson, Barrow Island and the Asian Fabrication Yards. Maintain Incident Management System, prepare reports for Senior Management, participate in the Incident Investigation Review Team (IIRT) and coordinate/verify/validate IIRT actions.
• Auditing (both company and internal audits) of the project Downstream Contractors. (includes auditing, report writing, review of action plans and action close-out).
• Support implementation of company Management process. This includes review of monthly reports and development of Improvement Action Plans / company Mitigation Plans.
• Supports the project Downstream Field Support Team on contractor annual HSE appraisals (Interim Performance Reviews and End-of-Contract reviews).
• Develop agendas and presentations for monthly and quarterly meetings with the Contractor and companies Senior Managers.
• Raise effectiveness and reach of project Downstream Behavioral Based Safety programme, including re-launch of TSTO program and development of the HIRC program.
• Monitor and report on contractors commitment to companies Downstream Fatal Risk programme.
• Support development and optimization of Project statistical HSE reporting.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum Qualifications: Engineering, Science or HSE Degree. Post-graduate qualification preferred

• Two years relevant experience in resource industry construction projects or operating facilities
• Demonstrated working knowledge of HES management systems highly desirable
• Strong team, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Ability to function effectively within a contractor’s organisation without losing focus on companies values
• Flexibility, maturity, team player and the ability to respond to numerous requests and changing priorities
• Intermediate ability with MS Office Suite required

Additional Comments: Position duration is 12months, working a 9 hour day
