The Role:
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
This position supports Major Capital and other Projects in Thailand. This position is normally a key member of the Project Leadership Team and receives guidance and direction from the Project Manager with a reporting relationship to the OE/HES OC, Planning & Projects Manager in Bangkok. Position may be expanded to include direct reports depending on the project requirements. The MCP HES Specialist is responsible for delivery of Project HES requirements and performance metrics. Specific requirements for the role include, but not limited to:
• Exhibit leadership of Chevron Way Behaviors, implement CSOC principles, and support implementation of CPDEP processes
• Actively participate as member of the Project Management Team setting strategic direction and leadership in Operational Excellence and HES integration within Project’s culture. Work with and support the Project Manager, Operations Representative, Business Manager, and other core members of the project team to ensure a fully integrated and robust OE Management Plan
• Manage the transition between CPDEP Phases - including CHESM evaluations of construction companies' HES plans
• Manage all aspects of the IIF program and HES performance at the work site
• Manage the implementation of OE and CUG requirements including Compliance Assurance, EPS, ESHIA, MSW, etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Science with the knowledge and background in the related area or equivalent
• Prior experience in managing HES aspects in MCP is highly desirable (5-10 years experience in HES management in Oil & Gas Industry is an advantage)
• Experience with IIF and implementation of OE requirements and experience with Safety Management Systems and HES Process development and implementation a significant plus.
• OE and CSOC regular certification is desirable
• Good command in English skill; speaking, writing and (TOEIC > 700)
