Qualifications and Experience:
• High technical education from a university or technical institute.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in industry or construction work environment.
• Must have excellent Bi-lingual (English, Russian) communication skills.
• Strong PC skills with an emphasis on MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good presentation skills.
• Must be a quick learner.
• Able to deal with stressful situations, work environment, and fast flowing information process.
• Ability to work independently.
• Be a project team player with strong and visible Incident & Injury Free / Operational Excellence skills
Job Functions and employment duties:
Job Functions:
• Be responsible for own safety and safety of colleagues according to Operational Excellence Policy / Health, Environment, and Safety Instructions.
• Champion an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture for Project Leadership Team and all Project team members
Daily Activities:
• Provide general administrative support and services for HES Team
• Develop and maintain HES records and files
• Identify and arrange for training of personnel, including population and update of project training matrices
Weekly Activities:
• Conduct regular site inspections of work areas as necessary and per the direction of Field HES Lead, monitor contractor performance and ensure early resolution of issues
• Interface with the Field HES Lead regarding any HES issues related to contractor performance
• Participate in HES walkdowns and inspections as directed by Field HES Lead
• Monitor BBS participation and send weekly updates illustrating participation by project overall, by location, and by department
• Assist with maintenance of safety boards on site and in office
• Attend weekly HES Team meeting each Thursday and provide an update on assigned open action items
Monthly Activities:
• Prepare and submit monthly statistical updates to PRC
• Monitor wellnomics report for SGE team and send monthly reports to supervisors with details of medium and high risk users
• Once trained, conduct ergonomic/workstation assessments for those users ranked as medium or high risk, in order to reduce their individual risk
• Lead or participate in office safety inspections
• Assist with preparation for, and participate in, emergency response drills
• Conduct project orientation training as directed by Field HES Lead
• Attend and represent SGE Tengiz team at BBS Steering Committee Meetings and cascade initiatives to project employees
• Prepare monthly analysis of BBS observations to determine top at-risk and safe behaviours. Distribute summaries of such to the team and use ‘at-risk’ behaviours as the basis of safety moments, safety alerts, etc
• Monitor BBS coaching provided by assigned SGE personnel and send monthly updates on coaching participation
• Select top 5 BBS observations for site, office and driving categories, and send to BBS review team for voting of overall category winners
• Update BBS zones in SCC and Procon areas with latest information, winners details, etc
• Assist with preparation of materials and proposals for HES campaigns, competitions, and similar
• Conduct a minimum of 1 BBS observation each rotation
