The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
This position is focused on providing HMI and Human factors support for the CE device research team, which is focused on improving the interaction between vehicle and peoples consumer electronics devices The roll will involve providing ergonomics and Human Factors expertise for HMI concept generation and Research project developments, designing and conduct bench, simulator and vehicle based user evaluations of HMI concepts, managing a number of milestone projects to feed into future TCDS projects, delivering projects on time and on budget, conducting continuous benchmarking and background research of devices and technology to support research projects and future technology, creating HMI specification and standards for new features or technologies and taking part in Peer Reviews for projects and feedback for other research projects. The role will work within the CE device car Research team and report to the Human Factors team leader.

Skills, experience and qualifications required: - Ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic, forward looking, lateral thinker with proven creative, research and innovation skills in the field of Ergonomics, Human Factors and Human Machine Interface. - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, self confidence and a 'passion for the product' are personal qualities needed to succeed in this high pressure environment, being self motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision. - Strong analytical skills, with high creativity levels and a good understanding of modern vehicle ergonomics and future HMI technology - Preferably qualified to degree level. - Computer literate in Google, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project. - The role will require regular inter-site travel therefore, it is expected that candidates will hold a valid UK Drivers licence

Experience Required:
Experience with creating complex methodologies, data gatghering and data interpretation. Working experience on research projects will be an advantage.

Education Required:
Ideally Degree qualified, or with equivalent industrial experience
