The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Hook Up Lead to maintain COMPANY standards and commitment to Safety and Quality, ensure KPI deliverables are achieved safely and correctly
• Manage the offshore hook-up activities and enforce the Safety Management Systems, with the emphasis on, risk assessment, job safety analysis (JSA) and the Permit to Work procedure.
• Develop the offshore Hook up Strategy, schedule and associated documents
• Development of effective interfacing between the pipelines, transport & installation and topside teams, and assist in coordination of the various schedules which impact each others operations.
• Manage and monitor the contractors progress and schedule performance throughout the various phases of the onshore and offshore scope, intervene and mediate if required and report daily progress to senior management onshore.
• Provide visible leadership, and promote project goals in respect of HS&E, Quality, Budget, and Schedule. Ensure this process is periodically evaluated through self assessment and external assessment.
• Responsible for the acceptance of the Mechanical Completion phase of the project offshore, ensuring Technical Integrity and Technical Assurance measures have been adhered to in line with the assigned COMPANY policy
• Responsible for the compilation of the Hook Up Preparation and Hook Up schedules for onshore and offshore HUC phases
• Management of all Lead and Discipline Engineers / Supervisors responsible for execution of the Hook Up works
• Responsible for the management and coordination of all Vendors required for onshore and offshore scopes of work
• To achieve completion of work-scope assigned on time / schedule and within budget
• Encourage Azeri personnel within the project team as much as possible through training and open and constructive conversations with regard to their performance, personal development plans and career path development.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Competent in communicating in English language.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Good inter-personal skills.
• Ability to produce written reports.
• Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point, MS Project
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and project schedules
• Fit and healthy
Minimum of 15 years experience of similar roles in oil and gas industry
You will be an experienced discipline engineer who demonstrates good communication and team ethos skills and have significant experience of working on the construction and hook up of a major Project within the oil and gas industry
