The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Key responsibilities include:
• Set up and maintain employee data in the payroll system, ensuring all data changes are authorised
• Prepare and process leave, allowances and deductions in the payroll system, cross checking against data import reporting
• Process off-cycle payments
• Transmit EFT file to bank
• Process payroll tax and third party vendor payments
• Produce standard payroll reporting and reconciliation of monthly payroll reports
• Perform peer cross checking of manual data entry in the payroll system
• Maintain electronic employee personnel files with documentation relating to payroll
• Participate in payroll audits as required
• Provide support to employees with payroll related enquiries and problem solving
• Assist with reconciliation of payroll associated general ledger accounts
• Conduct project work as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain confidentiality as per corporate policy
• Commitment to health, environment and safety and company best practices

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Key skills and experience required:
• Extensive experience in end to end payroll processing (minimum 5 years solid payroll experience) and previous experience working in a HR position
• The ability to manage a high volume of work
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• High attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines in an accurate and timely manner
• Self motivated, with the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team • Confident and clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals across all levels
• Strong Excel knowledge and experience would be advantageous
