The Company:
Our Client is an independent Australian oil and gas company playing a key role in supplying energy to our region.

They are one of the world’s leading producers of liquefied natural gas, helping meet the demands for cleaner energy from Japan, China, Korea and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.

The Role:
Partner with the business to providing effective attraction, sourcing, selection and recruitment

• Strong knowledge of business area requirements (business and market acumen), trends, external market and competitors and ability to integrate this into recruitment plans and strategy

• Ability to work with hiring managers to ascertain key competencies for advertised roles

• Delivery of innovative, efficient, successful and cost effective sourcing strategies (including but not limited to building targeted pipelines, use of social media, assessment centres)

• Understanding of business needs for the broad range of portfolios

• Accountable for providing a broader HR perspective

• Decide on sourcing strategy, development and delivery of resourcing plan

• Provide education to the Hiring Managers on best practice attraction and selection

• Agree on most suitable candidate

• Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates

• Input on internal versus external recruitment

• Knowledge of and skills for executing selection and recruitment

• Additional accountabilities as directed by the Recruitment Team Lead




Required:



• Proven experience in and delivery of successful attraction, selection and recruitment methods as part of an internal recruitment team

• Decision influencer in relation to best practice selection

• Ability to influence employment decisions of candidates

• Ability to assess candidate skills, quality and fit to identify the best candidate for a position

• Competencies required as outlined under the HR competency framework

• Utilise targeted selection approach to assess organisational, motivational and technical fit for roles

• Continuous improvement approach; identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas, and implementing solutions

• Demonstrated motivation for self development

• Establishes courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently and accurately



Desirable:



Proven experience in Executive recruitment including talent mapping

Tertiary qualification in relevant field (HR)

Experience in proactive sourcing

Previous experience with Taleo candidate management system
